Seated gracefully on one of the bar stools is a teenaged girl sipping an orange soda ice cream float, legs tucked neatly under the stool, for balance.

Of a sort, anyway.

She probably won't object if someone should wish to speak to her. Or, at least, it won't be easy to tell, which is almost the same thing, right?

There were footsteps coming from the ceiling of the bar. Not that the sounds weren't a common thing in the large room, just usually the footsteps from the second floor never echoed through the thick wood that seperated them all. So it was his night off. Apparently he got 'nights off' when Aya was 'in residence' at HQ and others were watching her. 'Others' meaning Hal in this case. Momiji has found, since he moved off the Sohma family estate, that everything he does feels...well, not better. Food doesn't taste different, his classes at school haven't suddenly become more interesting, and the sun isn't warmer or the sky more blue.
